The Streaming Giant Chooses Perfect Star for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the major clash won’t take place until the third season, and a cherished, popular member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the skilled actor has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bon Clay. This character can use their power to change into an exact copy of anyone they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a rendition of that character reimagined as non-binary, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action series, as in the original manga and anime.
Escola will work alongside a number of recently announced actors who will portray the organization to reality, including chief the main antagonist, brought to life by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the ruler of the fictional land.
Though Bon Clay is a major member of the group, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. With season 2 expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this marks a significant shift in the placement of their first appearance, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Escola’s blend of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a perfect fit for the character. Along with their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and numerous honors for writing and starring in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, showcasing the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
